About Me
Taking a boat (like this one) from Tiberias to the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee.

See our hotel just above my arm! How are your detective skills? How many of my tour-mates can you identify from the reflection in my sunglasses?

A better view of our hotel (the Ron Beach Hotel) right on the water!

Our boat's captain demonstrating how the fishermen fished 2000 years ago!

This 2000 year old fishing boat was found preserved in the mud. It is the same type as what the disciples used and was built (and patched) with 12 different kinds of wood. It started dissolving as they brought it to the surface. After years of preservation techniques (and this massive support structure), it can now be displayed safely.

The kids' slides are not as safety-conscious as they are in San Diego!

Mount of Beatitudes. The Traditional location of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) and also where He chose His disciples. (Luke 6:12).

Look from the Mount of Beatitudes across the Sea of Galilee and see our hotel!

Korazim. One of the three towns that Jesus cursed. Basalt (volcanic rock) was used heavily in this part of Israel. These are the ruins of a Galilean-type Synagogue. See me on the "Seat of Moses"!

The ruins of Saint Peter's home. This church is suspended over it!

Saint Peter's Fish for lunch. See "before" and "after"!

I can't seem to find this verse in the Bible...

A nice place to rest in Kursi. Near here is where Jesus chased demons into pigs and drove them off a cliff!

Israeli bananas grow pre-wrapped in a shopping bag!
